I'm an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force.

That was my MOS before I got injured in basic training (I'm so ashamed).  Everyone said it was the most stressful job and that, if I didn't smoke and drink, I would start.  Is it really that bad?

Let's just say when I turn 21 (19 currently) the alcohol consumption will begin xD

It's not really as hard as everyone says it is. It is very stressful however. During training the instructors/trainers will simulate the stress in a real time environment by yelling at you, throwing things, or getting right in your face. The point is to weed out the people who just can't take it. The actual work however, is difficult, but easily feasable if you put in the study time.

We share a common thing my fellow vgcharter, yours and my profession are in the top 3 of the most stressful jobs in the world.

1) Air Traffic Controller (You)
2) Stockbroker
3) Teacher/Proffesor (Me)

I feel so special now :)

At least we're not stockbrokers!
