To be fair they are saying that Activision showed the 1080p version at the event but the video capture was 720p... weird.

better aliasing and shading. It's not such a conundrum.

The problem is both are native 720p in all of the footage out there. The whole reason people noticed both were the same resolution was because they had identical aliasing.
