I know, wierd right?  I think there are some add, and many buisiness and others use it for conferancing.  If you look at the quartly reports Skype makes close to .8 to .9 Billion dollars per quarter. 

Plus Skype looks to keep expanding.

The author of the article did not do their research about Xbox and Microsoft's profitibility.  Then some people with bias want to believe it.  I know, astonishing isn't it!

 

Many, many People around the world use Skype for international phone calls (landlines and cell phones). That is not free.

Oh, yes, that Skype to land line and Skype to phone.  I'm just still blown away when I see how much it makes each quater.

It looks like they will make their purchase price back in about 2 years or less.  The same Skype that cost Ebay 2 billion in losses thanks to Meg Whitman's mismanagement.
