There is some truth to this to an extent, but essentially, yeah, it is just marketing buzz first and foremost akin to Genesis/Mega Drive blast processing, Saturn dual processors, Xbox Live Gold: better because you pay for it etc.
Btw, lol at Nintendo apologists coming into this thread to downplay the next gen leap in an attempt to stop the Wii U from looking bad.
