Both PS4 and Xbox One use custom GPU and CPU. Cant compare them to pc hardware.

Doesn't matter. They feature the same architectures as PCs so there won't be much of a difference in performance for a similarily spec'd PC.

Link?

They both use x86 and they both also use GCN so no excuses! What are you getting so defensive about exactly ? All of the consoles are weak compared to your 7970 ghz edition so I see no need to damage control for either of the consoles. What's more is that the AMD mantle will close the gap even further. What's even worse is that microsoft is going to use directX for the X1 so it will be even closer than before.

Yea, the both use X86 but that still does not mean they are the same as retail cpus. You cant compare something that is custum made to something thats stock.  I dont even think the NDA has been lifted to where peole can actually review the hardware in these consoles. I know what consoles are, been gaming since Atari 2600. Since the start I have never belived that better hardware means a better system when it comes to consoles. Its like saying the games with the best graphics are the best games. Gameplay is what matters most and graphics will never be better then gameplay.

Just so you know both of the consoles are using dogshit jaguar CPUs so they don't win in that department either. Just because something is custom made doesn't mean that their not comparable. Go ask Pemalite about it. He'll agree with me for the most part on this issue.

Anyways agreed about software being more important for game consoles.
