Yeah, exactly.  There's a reason.  Because they've never played SMT Nocturne or better RPGs.

Overrated doesn't mean it's not an excellent RPG, just that it's just that.  Overrated.

But being overrated means that it's getting more praise than it deserves which is not true at all. Nocturne may be good (I'll see after I platinum P4G since I bought it recently) but I just can't even Imagine a game that is better than P4G.

Probably shouldn't even bother playing Nocturne then, because what I bolded says that you're subliminally not even going to consider that another game could be better.

Though if you're one of those people who care about the Persona social links on P3 and P4 than overlying story, dungeon design, exploration, etc.  What commonly makes an RPG, then you probably won't like it as much either, but atleast if this was the case I could respect your opinion.

I also will change what I mean by overrated.  It's overrated in comparison to RPGs that are more deserving.  So it's not overrated, just in comparison to better RPGs.

So I shouldn't play a game if I don't think it can top my favorite game? Before I played P4G I didn't think anything could be better than P3FES, and before P3FES I didn't think anything could top my love for Pokemon and before that Jak and Daxter. But to answer you question I liked everything about P4G, the story, characters (which include the social links), music, the turn based combat, the art style, the day/weather system, just everything about it struck home with me.

Like I said before though, Nocture is probably a great game (it's made by Atlus after all) but right now P4G is top of the heap.
