This has been what developers have been saying since this whole resolution thing came up. Going with a lower resolution gives the game a much better frame rate which is more important. I bet Activision told Sony its best to go lower then 1080P but Sony insisted they make it 1080p.

Except that a simple patch will correct CoD's issue (even the PC version has framerate issues, and we know res isn't the issue there). Never mind that Battlefield 4 had no framerate issues on PS4 and Killzone runs at 30-60fps (a full 60 in multi).

It's more a matter of optimization.

 

Of course its a matter of optimization but all games dont perform the same. Just because one game runs at a steady frame rate does not mean all should run at the same fram rate. How Killzone and Battlefield run is irrelevent. Looking foward to seeing this patch. My pc version runs fine, everybody wont get the same performace in pc games.. Thats the way its always been.
