sony is paying many developers for small exclusive stuff and microsoft more for timed exclusive stuff.
and sony is using this a lot for their advertisement to let people believe the whole game is exclusive. the last months alone i saw playstation exclusive batman, asscreed, diablo and more ads on german tv and they always say something like "batman exclusive on playstation with the special costume" or stuff like that.
it's obviously only the costume which is exclusive but it surely sounds as if the whole game is exclusive for most people who see the ad.
microsoft doesn't do it that good. they always say "dlc first on xbox" which pretty much says that it will also come to other platforms. and they are even to stupid to tell us in their fifa 14 ad that xbox has the fifa legends. they don't even mention it, wtf? it would be so easy to say "fifa 14 exclusive on xbox with the fifa legends!"
