@naznatips - Good catch with Metroid Prime. I guess you can make most genres of games into first person shooters (Bioshock being an FPS-RPG, and Prime an FPS-adventure). What sucks, and you seem to be saying this, is when all there is to the game is shooting and shooting and more shooting, and the best new graphics.
If there's some great new gameplay element (time-slowing in FEAR has been done but it's still great if it's new to you) and/or particularly clever AI (FEAR again), or something very significant to make the experience feel different, then I'm interested. Otherwise, "Eh... couldn't really be that much better than Half-Life 2, and I already beat that. Moving on."

Prediction: Wii passes 360 in US between July - September 2008. (Wii supply will be the issue to watch, and barring any freak incidents between now and then as well.) - 6/5/08; Wow, came true even earlier. Wii is a monster.
