And the upcoming schedule is easy enough to give this Packers team realistic playoff chances. The only actually tough game without Rodgers is going to be the one on Thanksgiving. |
I'm grateful that the Packers have a running game for the first time in decades, but our passing game is heavily dependent on Rodgers' skill and timing rather than on sterling receivers. You're right that it's a softish schedule, fortunately, so I don't think we're out of it, but Rodgers' absence exposes just about all the team's vulnerabilities.
Alternatively, Clay Matthews' absences are when our defense shines the best...
