| Kresnik said: Black Ops 3 will be better (assuming it is coming to Wii-U; and I'd think it will be) since it'll be Treyarch handling their own code rather than dealing with someone else's. That said, I'm not too surprised Wii-U got a bad deal. I understand we're in a cyclical "but we won't buy the games if they're bad ports!" kind of thing right now; but not enough people bought Black Ops 2 in the first place (which is a decent port) to warrant a vast amount of resources going into Ghosts to optimize it. (I know, I know "we didn't get the DLC" etc., which is all true, but still). I wonder how it'll sell. |
But it's Treyarch developing the Wii U version pretty much internally this time as well, even their own formula for resolution and AA is here and exactly the same as in BO2.
I honestly wouldn't expect the hypothetical BO3 version for Wii U to be much better, it just seems that they have very limited team and resources for that and that's close to what Wii U owners can generally get. They certainly didn't make much progress since BO2, I could find that face off, but iirc that was a pretty staight 360 port visually with big framerate dips, now with Ghosts from what DF is saying it's slightly visually inferior to 360 and terrible framerate is still in place.
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
Greatness Awaits!
