what is your most and least favourite game publishers company?

Least favorite; a real shocker here with EA.
Reason; online DRM, spyware in Origin, horrible pricing, forcing terrific developers to pump out medicore games, buying smaller companies with massive talent and amazing franchises, butcher the franchises for a quick dollar or no dollar at all and disperse the talent or set them to demeaning tasks.

Favorite; Valve.
Reason; They're all round amazing for consumers and developers, they have offered a revolution in distribution, user generated content, Indie titles and outsourcing developer tools (why do you think it was dubbed the "source engine"?). On top of this, they make amazing games themselves, they don't talk smack, they take risks and they help lift the little man.
Valve is just about the only positive contributor overall to the gaming industry in the 7th gen, the way I see it.
