Was getting both in January 2013 and still am getting both now.
Will have to wait longer to get the One because of availability though. (damn it would have been sweeet if I could have gotten both this December 
)
To be honest it doesn't matter what MS or Sony did with these consoles i would have still bought both. Even if MS had a 24 hour connection thing I would have still gotten it.
