According to various sources on the web, the oiginal Kinect used less than 10 percent of the 360's CPU.

Safe bet the new Kinect just uses the X1's CPU as well. Games rely more on GPU so it has plenty of CPU to spare.

I don't belive Kinect games are limited to only 2/3 the graphic detail. Fable: The Journey for example has much more polished visuals than the typical 360 game. Forza 4 also had Kinect support with the same quality visuals and split screen.
