I don't really disagree with him much, but that doesn't take anything away from the Wii.
The Wii has been tremendously successful and nothing can "damper" that fact.
But the ps3 and 360 will narrow the gap in sales as their prices drop. There is undeniably a huge difference in price between $250 & $500. A $300 BC (backwards compatiable) PS3 will definitely compete BETTER (didn't say it would pass) with the Wii--commonsense. You can say that the Wii can lower its price too...which is true, but will they when they can't even reach current demand? No...not for a long time. Demand needs to drop and supply needs to increase big time for Nintendo to even THINK about lowering the Wii price.
Point is:
Duh, of course a $250 ps3 will compete with a $250 wii better than a $500 ps3 will compete with a $250 wii. And I think we all agree the ps3 & 360 will lower their prices sooner than the wii because of supply/demand factors.
