Besides, if Sony didn't drop the PS3, which nearly bankrupted the company, why should Nintendo drop the Wii U? It took years for Sony to make a profit off the ps3, due to massive 1st party support. The Wii U on the other hand still hasn't gotten any flagship titles like Smash and Mario Kart, and its losses are small. No doubt the heads of the company also see the dropping of the console as a slap to the face of the fans who bought it, and wouldn't risk a controversity. |
