people want their consoles to play games and their handhelds to play games...that's it...the masses don't care about the other functions that they can perform...those are just side benefits for a small % of the owners
just like ipod crushed the gmini even tho the latter played movies, games, was a photo wallet, etc etc...the masses just wanted to be able to play mp3s on an easy-to-use, stylish player
