I made points after that. I was replying to the part where you said I jumped into the argument after you did. Which isn't true. You jumped in here, in this very thread, to argue what I originally said about Mario games and their appeal. You argued that people don't necessarily rush if they beat such games real fast.
That not everyone likes to go through levels again to play the new content that is unlocked as you play more of the game. Sure, some people buy iMacs just browse the internet and do nothing more on that computer... Doesn't make it smart, but ok.

I suspect you don't play much Mario games. But that's beside the point. Mario games aren't about story or online play. The point of Mario games is their level designs and diverse gameplay mechanics from level to level or objective to objective. If you skip level to finish the game faster, you really are missing the point of such games. I know that for you, it's an alien notion. You need to receive a tasteful cookie after every single accomplishment for the game to keep your short attention span. New content and new levels aren't enough...

It would be interesting to see how many trophies you have. xD
