It all depends on the impact of the price cut + GTA. In many ways, its the biggest game - period - and if MS play their cards right, this could change everything.
It needs to be coupled with a huge marketing campaign (i.e. Halo3 plus), AND a new 360 model - which is RRoD proof :)
A 50 Euro drop *could* translate to almost a $100 drop here in Australia. The arcade pack if $399 at the moment - if it drops to $299, I'll get one the next day.
It also makes things interesting, as its the first time *any* of the next-gen consoles will have been cheaper than the Wii. Not that I expect it to have *any* impact on Wii sales...

If this doesn't do much - Sony doesn't care. If it does - it just accelerates their next price cut - leading to a nice little price war. Gonna be real interesting to see.
