I like the social expression of materialistic value that comes up in this debate... Like having a plastic pan cake truly changes the perception and value of the game for some...
physical or DD both could be transferable the materialistic existence of something in our day and age is not required to be transferrable it's funny to see people being so attach to things they can physically accumulate...
anyway wasn't the plan suppose to allow you to resell DD through third parties??? I mean it's true we never got to know how it really worked and I'm sure at the time MS didn't really know either or weren't sure how to implement it to minimize cost for them while staying convenient for customers... This is the real issue not the idea... If they'd find an easy way to treat DD like physical discs when it comes to right transfer almost nobody would have actually cared...

that debate never concerned me when it started... on 360 I have been buying DD for the past 2-3 years... And will never go back to physical support again... I'm willing to give up my transfer right for the convenience and I actually save money... I buy games when they are on sales, I do way less impulse buys and I buy more intelligently (more good games better games)... So all in all I don't really lose anything... With the devaluation of the physical transferable disc my final loss is quite similar...
that said I can understand some... Yet I would have loved something focused on DD completely since it is my way of consuming stuff now...
