@Morgyn: The PS3 doesn't have high attach rates in Japan. Higher than the PSP's, yes, but not high at all compared to the Wii or the 360.
The PS3 has low hardware sales and low attach rates in Japan, which is the basis of my previous post. It's selling to movie buffs and to a very reduced group of hardcore gamers.
