I've never understood why people find the need to complain about getting extra features just because they, personally, won't be using them.


Because these "extra features" are at the core of the console. It is not a games console. but a media platform which happens to also play games (which is MS stance on it btw). So now, shouting at your TV and watching apps that don't work outside of Amercia is the number one reason for a Xbone, rather than the number 2.

The PS4 on the other hand, also has Netflix etc as an extra, not the core concept as that is for games (again, that is Sonys words and their stance on it)
