1. Nintendo Power isn't owned by Nintendo anymore, the only affiliation i guess would be that it only focuses on nintendo games, but i don't see why that'd make them more keen to go easier on the games
2. As proof, of sorts, that they don't overmark nintendo games is that, while Super Mario Galaxy has 100% reviews for about half of its 60 or so reviews, Nintendo Power chose to give it 95% when they could have easily given it 100% without anyone thinking anything 'biased' of them
