The difference is that PS3 is still selling and covering the ground slowly but surely. The gap between XY and B&W will only grow.

Pokemon X/Y is still selling while B/W isnt, the gap is closing

Of course, I'm talking about  week vs. week comparison. The gap increased from Week 2 to Week 3.
