Well, I really liked achievements the first years but after a while I stopped caring for them except for games which I really care about (Halo 4 as example). I still look at the list before I start a game so that i see if there is stuff i can easily do but i would never watch videos or something like that to see how to get an achievement . I would also never boost them with others.
But if you don't play a game because it doesn't have achievements/trophies I wonder if you even care about the games? I mean, you wouldn't have fun to play the games without trophies? I understand if you have more fun with them but that doesn't mean that games like The Last of Us are only fun because of the trophies.
If game developers will read this thread they will cry. The message is pretty much "Your games aren't enough fun for me if they don't have trophies"
