You guys miss entirely the point of what quality really means..
Quality is not about having more power or having more features
Quality is about how a product can match the consumer expectations and feelings, for a price that he/she considers fair for what he´s getting.
In this sense, a good game library is mandatory in order to make a handheld device a quality device, because consumers will interact with the machine through its software.
Vita can be more powerful and it sure has its audience, but it doesn´t have all the qualities most (I repeat, MOST) consumers want. For some people, it´s still just too expensive, for others, the library is not interesting.
Tech-wise, Vita can be a better device, but marketing-wise, 3DS matches better what the consumer wants and, thus, it´s a better product.
