Your eyes tend to see less of the pop out and more of the depth after spending more time with the 3DS, for instance with the load screen ( where the squares pop out in the sides) that's one instance where the 3D seems less pronounced As for Dual Screens, making it one screen wouldnt help with the resolution, lol. |
Not withstanding the flat factor I see vs other people seeing a pop out, I have to say I have never been all that impressed with any 3D tech I have ever seen. 3D glasses movie stuff, nor quasi holographic style stuff, nor the high end PC/TV 3D. It just doesn't do it for me. Considering that the most advanced 3D tech doesn't wow me, the 3DS 3D tech is even more blah. I am waiting for true direct in my brain VR. Until then ill continue to prefer higher 2D image quality over what I see as quasi 3rd dimention stuff.
Not having dual screens could help with costs thus it would be possible for a higher res single screen for the same price, is all im saying. But honestly, id still settle for a single screen of the _same_ resolution as the primary 3DS screen. I dislike 2 screens that much.
