People keep ignoring Nintendo....Nintendo won the console war in the 7th gen. DS outsold the PSP nearly 2:1 and the Wii outsold the PS3/360 by 25% (likely to drop a bit).
Sony and Microsoft are just fighting for 2nd place, but IMO Sony won. People are using the excuse that "sales don't count after a console has been replaced" to justify weak 360 sales over the last 3 years. In reality, the PS3 caught up to the 360 in overall sales with 1 year less on the market, it's still getting 1st party exclusives, and it's looking to make a sizable lead on the 360.
MS is last, but barely. Still a huge improvement from the 25 million XB1 consoles sold in the 6th gen.
