Then again, considering the venue, I shouldn't be surprised when these things crop up.

These threads are way more relevant than all of the threads about the resolution war lately. Hell, a simple "X console has reached Y sales milestone" thread is pretty much as relevant and straightforward as it gets. Do we need one for every milestone? Not really. But you could do a lot worse.
