I think you really overestimate the importance of Japanese games for the Western audience, where the Vita struggles the most. It already has a lot of different kinds from bigger titles to totally niche stuff that has been localised and it didn't light up the charts.
You say the Persona 4 Golden is the 4th best selling game on the Vita, that's true. But without Japanese sales how high would it be?
So it is happening...PS4 preorder.
