The Wonderful 101 is a new IP. If they make The Wonderful 102, then the game has just become a franchise on its own.
The sales of Wonderful 101 don't justify a franchise (a new game). However, if they nailed it with Bayonetta 2, then the franchise has successfully become part of Nintendo, and they can keep pumping out games from it.
