Every review I've read for the PS3's BD player gave it high marks for video quaility and thy also like the fact that unlike current BD players, it is easily upgradable to future BD standards because of its large HDD and internet connection. Trust me, if you are going to get a BD player in the forseeable future, get a PS3.
Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it
