Street Fighter IV if you consider all of them combined sold around 8m

Mortal Kombat sold around 4m

Tekken 6 sold also sold 4m

Killer Instinct can also prob push around that 4m mark with high attach ratios being a launch game and if you consider the initial download is free it could be downloaded way more than that.  Plus having seasons with new characters it should be revived multiple times giving it legs.

Not saying any of them will outsell Smash Bros 4 but you never really know about these things.

Super Smash Bros Melee sold 7.07m and the original 5.55m. If we are to expect a significant decline in the wiiu hardware compared to Wii this is the number that would be more realistic than Brawl with a 100m userbase.

you said it, look at the trend. You've been talking about a franchise that have been selling better with each iteration, no matter the installbase. N64 sold better than NGC, yet Smash Bros sold 2 million more copies. The facts are there in front of the people. but everybody looks what they want to.
