So, my PC is screwed isn't it?

Here is the current issue.

 

• My laptop had issues with the charger port. The connection felt loose and sometimes it wouldn't charge the battery.
• Tech comes to my house and installs a new MoBo.
• Laptop was giving me errors when windows booted up. "WerFault.exe error, DLLHost error, etc..." sometimes I would get lucky and have have no errors.
• Starting today the laptop gave me an error while shutting down and just hanged. Can't remember the file name.
• Starting the laptop now causes a black screen right after the Windows 8 logo.
• Hit F12, went to legacy boot and checked HDD and it cannot find boot device.

So, did my faulty MoBo just get replaced with an even worse MoBo?
