The lack of momentum from Nintendo being able to hold onto the casual market is whats going to cause the market to shrink this gen. Nintendo aimed for the hardcore and singleplayer experience with the Wii U. This is not a successor to the Wii if it does not use the Wiimote as a primary.

Lol if it wasnt for Ninty this past gen the industry would have shrunk already. PS3 and 360 still have yet to pass PS2 and Xbox. So thanks Ninty for your market expanding Wii this gen. Since Ninty expanded the market this gen it should be up to them to pick up the slack for next gen but even you know that isnt going to happen.
