The biggest issue is that you have two consoles launching at essentially the same time with the more expensive console being the weaker of the two. I can't recall a situation like this occurring before. The weaker console always launches at a lower price during a head to head launch. Well except in the case of the XBO and the PS4. If you are huge fan of XBO exclusives this doesn't matter. If you are a fan of PS4 exclusives or not beholden to Sony nor MS's exclusive games it makes the PS4 a better value.
