BTW let me have some Oculus input since that's what this thread is for. I actually have used Oculus HD prototypes, the VR is very cool, there is still some head tracking delays due to the way it's implemented so I get motion sickness from it after a few minutes, I'm talking like, my body turns cold, and I begin to produce cold sweat, then start to get quiet dizzy if head tracking is there. I was going to buy Oculus for sure after retail version comes out regardless because I thought it'd be awesome, until I saw the Kickstarter for castAR, which is suppose to not give me motion sickness and does what Oculus does and a lot more at a cheaper price from KS (and much lighter.) Those Valve people don't fuck around. O_O;

Never even heard of CastAR until today. However I know for a fact the VR aspect of it isn't as good as Oclulus Rift's, and like I said I didn't get motion sickness at all and the latency was very good for a prototype, have you tried castAR yet?

I'm gonna see if I can somehow weezle my way into it since I'm in the Seattle area. If it works well then it basically would be a 3D monitor/tv/wall/vr all in one at 720p 120Hz/s. The way they implemented it also makes position tracking very very inexpensive and fast. I probably got motion sickness from Oculus because I'm more sensitive in that area and the way my eyes saw the movements didn't match up with reality due to that tiny lag from the motion sensors. Not saying Oculus doesn't work well of course, that was my thing to get until I saw this thing that has more potential due to it's flexibility.
