Just got my devkit through the mail after a tedious process. About to try this baby for the first time, will update OP with my first impressions.
Btw if any of you guys have one please suggest me some cool demos below. Excited as fuck at the moment to be honest.

Edit: WOW. This thing has scary potential to be honest. My ONLY complaint is the resolution, if this thing came out in say, five or so years when 4K resolution panels were cheaper this WOULD be a cultural phenomenom. The latency on it is nearly non-existant, I didn't sustain any motion sickness from the demos I played, and while you have the thing on for about five minutes or so, you COMPLETELY forget the real wold exists.
It's just astounding how good this all works for a measly $300 dollars, and the best part is, it's ONLY a prototype and the consumer version will be better. Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo HAVE to jump on this train. Whoever does this first WILL win the console war, it has Wii motion gaming levels of potential, except I enjoy tihis many times more.
My advice for Nintendo would to make their next console $300 with $200 hardware which would match PS4 and XB1 specs at the time, and a $200 VR headset and just eat up the $100 loss and then boom, they'll find themselves with another Wii-like hit. But anyways, yes, this blew all my expectations out of the water. You truly have to try it for yourself....
