Microsoft might get away with weak hardware and still sell well because of other stuff and that makes me sad...

If his first one dies in the first month, it would be covered under the in store warranty and for sure sony's........his story has holes.

The first one was brand new the 2nd was referbrished ( I got it referbrished because I didn't see the point in getting another new one if it could fail so quickly. they both disk read errored on me in under a month. Maybe I was just unlucky.

?? What? If the first one was a month old the store or sony would repair it for free.....And you thought a refurbished one wouldn't fail but another new one would?? Your story has holes the size of mount everest.
