It's honestly been like this since 2010, or even 2009 if you want to consider how many exclusives have been ported elsewhere since then, but I suppose that's what happens when you close down several first party studios in favor of some Aspergers-esque obsession with timed-exclusive third party content. (no disrespect to anyone actually on the Autistic spectrum).
Why has it taken this long for everyone else to notice? Hounding the PS3 for "hazing no gaems" even though it's launch line-up was fundamentally the same as the PS2 and PS4? Apart from the NES, Dreamcast and original Xbox, launch line-ups generally have minimal bearing on a platform's future.
