You literally made a list of nearly all the over-rated, overhyped games this gen IMO. The Last of Us especially, I would only have given that an 8.3/10, people always talk about the game being realistic because you're limited on ammo and health is low, but you still kill over 100 people, plus the ending was just outrageous.

What I consider to be the top 10 games of this gen, without counting DS remakes like Chrono Trigger and Front Mission (which are AWESOME). Note this is different from my top 10 favorite, it's the 10 I think are the best.
1. Lost Odyssey - A swan songs to old-school gaming, this is probably the last good high budget, AAA turn based RPG they will ever make for a home console. This is an embodyment of what gaming used to be, and I think people who have played RPG's for over 15 years will appreciate this.
2. XenoBlade Chronicles - Just an awesome 60+ hour JRPG, with a great plot. I don't think I've ever played a JRPG with an open world this big.
3. Mass Effect 2 - Well made WRPG. The plot isn't too thick, but the pacing, and the blend of RPG and shooter is just done perfectly
4. Gears of War 2 - Awesome campaign, probably the most story driven shooter. This game is well done, everyone copied Horde mode after this game released.
5. Fallout 3 - F***ing awesome post apocolyptic RPG. Really interesting world, and it never gets boring poping headshots.
6. Gears of War - Before Gears of War, almost no games used cover. Now, nearly every game has a cover system. Groundbreaking gameplay mechanics, topped with one of the most meloncholy plots in a video game. If you think Last of Us was emotional, you never played this.
7. Halo: Reach - Best Halo ever, Bungies swansong to the Halo series.
8. Uncharted 2 - Best Action/Adventure game this gen, comidic and action packed
9. Pokemon Black/White - Best handheld game ever, B/W revives the old Pokemon formula, and brings this franchise back to life. No matter how old you get, this is still awesome
10. Skyward Sword - Best use of Wii-mote controls. Honestly, you feel like a bad ass when you actually slice your enemies into pieces. I might put this higher when I beat the game, I'm loving the boss battles.
