Well he said most occur during the holiday season, not all. The figures do show that most Wii owners have not bought any software this year. Granted it is unlikely that the holiday season will double current Wii software sales.
Also it is pretty much the same argument, just framed in a slightly different perspective. Most Wii owners have not bought any games outside of the holiday season this year, and most Wii owners have not been actively purchasing software this year.
