So can anyone show me the difference between an upscaled 1080p at 60 fps and a native 1080p at 60 fps? Can you even see it on a large monitor?

Doesn't really impact me at all either way ... as others have said if we all really cared about max graphics we would trade in our consoles for top of the line gaming pc's.

Wonder why they couldn't get it native 1080p on Xbox one though ... trouble with hardware, or just trouble adapting to the hardware?

Things like sharpness and image quality are the key things... also less jaggies which can be very annoying. It also seems that even with the higher res the PS4 can do higher FPS.. so thats pretty impressive, because the more pixels you push the harder the console needs to work.

In terms of XboxOne, there is no doubt that the memory side of it will cause issues with the first games that come out, but as the development side improves (and the game engines get optimised) they will definately be able to improve it. Wouldn't be surprised if COD/BF4 are pushing 900p next year... whether it can do 1080p for the more heavy games, not convinced yet as that is a big step up. But would also expect BF5 on Ps4 to be 1080p by that time.
