Ditto This^
People seem to be blind because MS has more Retail Exclusives at launch but lets get real.....
Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Forza 5, and Plants Vs Zombies are the only RETAIL Exclusives at launch.Mind you one of these is barely qualifiable as a retail game.
Knack,Injustice, and Killzone SF are the only RETAIL Exclusives at PS4's launch. With Driveclub being delayed till Q1 2014.
Both Lineups are filled with...
-Multiplats: All Sports, CoD, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed
-F2P Games: Driveclub, Killer Instict
-Indies: Minecraft, Peggle 2, Flower, Flow, Contrastetc.
-MMOs: Planetside 2, DC Universe
Why? because these games are either so cheap to make meaning that lower install won't harm profit potential too much, OR the games are built so the maximum amount of ppl will Download them, meaning greatest exposure to potential micro transactions.
Killzone SF and Forza 5 are the only real AAA established IPs in the whole bunch and neither has ever really set the sales charts on fire. Second Tiers go to Dead Rising 3 and Knack which.......yea, not real system sellers here.
Any dilusion that one console's launch line up somehow completely outstrips the other in anything but one's personal opinon is just crazy talk.
The only real deciding factor this holiday season is going to be Price Point(a no brainer) and features (Where they are both very close but PS4 is more powerful while XBO has a few features PS4 can't do).
----------------------------------------------------------
Beyond Launch We have a few massive titles coming for both. There are a lot of people interested in Infamous Second Son(seems to be the most wanted PS4 title). Titanfall is the most popular Next Gen exclusive all around it seems but its ability to court ppl to XBO might be hindered with the shakiness of the exclusivity to the more costly console. Not to mention it is still a new IP (Backed by the shitty EA Partners of all things).
