MS funding Gears pretty much funded Cliffy B's "retirement". Its the truth, their pockets are full. They will make a lot of money but they will make even more because of what MS is paying them for exclusivity (covering lost funds that through multiplat sales couldn't otherwise be recouped). I remember Pachter talking about the fact that when a company moneyhats exclusivity generally they have to pay all of that, so I agree, theres no sadness.
