The differences between the sub-1080p resolutions of BF4 vs the 1080p resolutions of COD are of sharpness and clarity. If COD at 1080p uses bad textures and mediocre graphical effects, then 1080p is hardly anything to brag about. Now, if COD did pull off some neat graphical effects while holding framerate steady and rendering in 1080p, then yeah, I would consider it to be better.
