uhg, this.
I agree with OP. Some games need to be made exclusively for Vita. Especially the indie stuff. With every crossplatform release they do with PSP/PS3/VIta is just another game you don't really NEED to get a Vita for.
Escape Plan for PS4? why? how does this work without back touch? Vita version was just fine. Ragnorak Odyssey Ace is also now on PS3 too. Dragon's Crown was truly built for a portable.
Idk, I understand the act of trying to give people choices. There are some games I would just never play on consoles so even tho they are also developed for them as well as Vita, I opt Vita. I imagine there are some who are the total oppossite.
I have also noticed that Sony has steered further away from single console exclusivity, in light of just playing it on one of their platforms or utilizing their services. They are trying to create an Android like ecosystem. Does google care which phone sold the most? Nope, just that that phone uses it's OS and apps. This is partly why Sony no longer differenciates between PSP/Vita or PS2/PS3/and soon PS4 in their data. Its all PLAYSTATION so whichever you get it for its still +1 in their money pool. This is also probably the only reason Vita has not been completely discontinued yet.
