| Too_Talls said: I will give a short list of why I will be getting an Xbox one instead. 1. Both sides have done some nice marketing to keep their consumers with them as they move to new generations. Things like MS' gamer score which they will be using in order to give discounts down the road. though that isn't a seller for me, What I do have on my mind is the loads of digital games I have bought on xbox live, as for disc based games they are not backwards compatible on either side , but I do think I will be able to retrieve my purchased digital content (somebody confirm this if possible please). Another thing is my current Xbl subscription that will last a little over a year. 2. Call of duty Ghost: That is basically the only thing I play (I did take a break to explore GTA5 but I'm back on cod. again.) Xbox will have the largest available players in america (the overall sales does not matter, I cannot play against japanese or australian people online) I trust the online service that MS has offered for years and I am curious why you say playstation plus is a reason. 3. Kinect 2.0: We are at a graphical bridge. I do not think anyone wouldn't agree that this will be the advancement in generations that we see the least amount of graphical improvements from the predecessors. The days of being amazed by graphics are a thing of the past. with Kinect 2.0 offers, I see a bright future in a wide range of things I can do with my box unrelated to games but still are very cool. 4. Not a selling point but a cool feature. the ability to capture anything on screen. that combined with the ability to be a pass through display with anything with and HDMI connection makes for some good high def capture from a wide range of stuff. (finally the cod videos in my vault can see the world or vice versa) 5. Controller preference: I won cod tournaments on the 360 and got beat in the 1st round of a ps3 tournament from an average player because my big hands couldn't do anything with the toy of a controller design the ps3 had. 6. Titan Fall. I don't get much games but this one is a must have for a long running cod fan like myself. It's a cute idea that it will come to the PS4 later but I have two problems with that. *we don't no how long after it's xbox release in march it will take before it lands in the lap of PS4 owners, could be a few months, could be a year, could be never. * By the time that it does come it will be played out and the franchise will generally be considered an xbox thing. So just like call of duty, I expect to consistently see more people online on the xbox version. |
I do agree with Kinect but honestly for gamers its not a selling point and Titanfall will be released on PS4 eventually and controller preference seems to be something that Sony have worked hard on, Dualshock 4 is a lot better than 3, feels a lot sturdier and more like a 360 controller while being PlayStation and HDMI is honestly pointless unless im running a PS4 through it haha ;) . Although Xbox One does have Halo and Forza and also it has tv streaming (ps3 and ps4 also have) but who the heck enjoys playing with Americans unless your Americans and also PS4 has Gaikai streaming. Enjoy your Xbox One though and ill be playing Titanfall on PC and yea to be honest the Xbox One has improved a lot since launch but Uncharted 4 is just too tempting for me.
