As others have said it would be the size of TV you are playing on. If you are sat in your bedroom playing on a small HD screen, not sure it will be that big a problem, but as these devices are starting to be sold as "Living room experiences" and Big screen TVs are becoming very cheap… thats when resolutions start to matter.
