That's an easy one - Eternal Darkness. Just love how unique it was with the sanity meter and the story spanning thousnads of years. I normally don't put much stock in story but this game shows that a great story can actually help carry a game if it's well done enough. I'm a big ancient history buff so maybe that's why I appreciate the settings of this game so much.. I love the diversity of the environments and the creepy vibe it gives you without being over the top. The game mechanics aren't even that spectacular, but the narrative and the envionments are just so damn interesting, and that sanity meter really adds a lot as well, to the point where you tend to forget about the somewhat simplistic mechanics and fighting style.
Tales of Symphonia, F-Zero GX, and Smash Bros Melee get honorable mentions.
